All sessions are free and open to the public. They also will be videotaped for historical purposes and stored within the Charles V. and Dona Cooper Hamilton Collection at the Du Sable Museum of African American History where they will be available for public review and scholarly use. The Committee on Old Neighborhoods and Communities will be meeting in the next several months to discuss the life and history of Lillydale/West Chesterfield, Morgan Park, the North Side, Robbins, Evanston and other localities that make up Chicagoland.
The Committee on Origins will be presenting a seminar on the contributions of Mississippians to Chicago life sometime during the summer months.
The Education Committee will reconvene within the next month at the Du Sable Museum of African American History and an announcement will be forthcoming.
